Our Story

What started as love – and a little desperation – is now a small company with a big mission.

My husband, George and I have always been the traveling, ocean loving type, scuba diving, boating, exploring deserted beaches, or just spending time in our South Florida backyard, but every time George stepped outside, he'd get eaten alive by mosquitoes or any other biting insect. On our destination scuba trips, it was worse: extreme itching and allergic reactions that turned into sleepless nights, and a cast-iron memory for never bringing bug spray. On the rare occasion that I did remember bug spray, it was followed by George saying, "I hate putting those chemicals all over me." I knew there had to be a better option, so I got to work.

I set out to create a mosquito repellent that actually works, without harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, or sticky residues. After months of testing blends of essential oils, natural extracts, and soothing botanicals, I finally nailed it! A spray formula that kept bugs away, and a balm that calmed bites for when George forgot to spray. Best of all, these creations were gentle enough for daily use. What began as a home remedy for my husband became our first No No Mosquito LLC product line: a 100% natural mosquito repellent, an itch-relief balm for when the spray gets left behind, and a tick repellent for our northern and western friends.
